A comparison of the assay characteristics between the elisakit.com product and a market leading manufacturer (R & D systems) was performed.
The assays were set up to give comparative information as to the standard curves, CVs, intra-assay variability, spike testing and sensitivity.
All assays were performed using serum as the matrix.
The ELISAkit.com product easily matched the performance obtained from the market leading product across all criteria tested.

Spike testing comparisonIn this assay serum was spiked with known concentrations of TNF-α (n=4).
Same data with % error from expected result
|ELISAkit.com||366.9 (+10%)||162.3 (+14%)||79.6 (+20%)|
|R&D Systems||356.3 (+7%)||162.4 (14%)||83.8 (26%)|
Lower limit of quantitation (LLQ)
*The LLQ was calculated by adding 3 standard deviations to the mean of the zero standard replicates.
